Fabra Dome Buildings are manufactured with high quality steel. They are constructed from round rolled mechanical pipe with minimum break strength of 50,000 pounds. The rafters are then processed with a hot dipped galvanizing process. Since the rafters are submerged after being fabricated and welded together, this total dipping covers all of the welded parts and leaves no raw steel subject to rust and corrosion. Deterioration from rust and corrosion begins on the inside and eats its way out, so the interior covering is as thick on the inside as the outside, protecting the entire rafter. This galvanizing process also provides a very smooth surface for the building cover. Many customers and State Departments of Transportation require this coating.
The cover is a very durable tough fiber. This woven 12.5 ounce product is rip-stop. This indicates that the cover can be cut or punctured but not continue to rip and tear. The cover colors available are white, blue, green, tan and silver. All covers have white interior.
